One counter platform. Built for how Africa sells.
Obali is the intelligent counter, a point of sale platform for Ghana. Obali POS runs offline-first checkout and stock for shops; Obali TableKare adds a kitchen display, QR ordering and GRA E-VAT receipts for restaurants. Pick the product built for your business.
Obali POS
The till for groceries, minimarts, supermarkets and warehouses. Scan, sell, take mobile money or cash, print a receipt, and keep selling when the internet drops.
Obali TableKare
Restaurant operations in one system: till, kitchen display, QR table ordering, stock control and GRA E-VAT ready receipts. Currently in pilot with restaurants in Accra.
Which Obali is right for you?
Same backbone, different counter. Compare Obali POS and Obali TableKare at a glance.
Both products stand on the same foundation.
Whichever you choose, the fundamentals are already solved. These are not features we bolt on, they are how Obali is built.
Offline-first, deliberately
Sales queue locally and replay when the connection returns. Send the same sale twice and it counts once, never a double charge.
Africa-native payments
Mobile money first: MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money and card, verified on our servers before a receipt prints. More markets as we grow.
Runs on cheap hardware
Thermal printers and modest Android tablets. You should not have to buy a new counter to modernise the one you have.
Intelligence, built in
Obali watches the numbers and speaks plainly: what is selling, what to reorder, and where money is leaking.
GRA E-VAT compliant receipts
Obali issues receipts carrying VAT, NHIL and GETFund lines, calculated and printed automatically at the point of sale, so the paperwork is a by-product of selling rather than a job at the end of the month.
QR ordering from the table
Guests scan the code on the table, browse the live menu and order. No app to install, and the order reaches the kitchen display the moment it is placed.
Start free. Pay only when you grow.
No setup fees, no card to begin, cancel any time. Every new shop gets Growth free for the first month: the whole product, every branch and report. After that you move to the Free plan and keep selling, or stay on Growth at the founding price.
Prices in Ghana cedis, billed monthly, current as of August 2026.
Free forever. Everything a single counter needs to start selling today.
For a shop with a store room, staff on shifts and books to keep.
The full suite, uncapped, for a business with branches. One flat price, however many of the five you open.
Supermarket groups and chains, where the software is the smaller half of the job.
The founding price. Growth is ₵150 a month while we onboard our first shops; it normally costs ₵200. Shops that join at the founding price keep it for as long as they stay subscribed, even after the price rises for new customers. Any change to what you pay comes with at least 30 days notice.
Plan limits. Limits apply when you add something new. Nothing you already have is ever removed, so if you step down a plan you keep every product, branch and login, and are simply asked to upgrade before adding more.
Paid by mobile money or card, monthly. Enterprise agreements can be invoiced. These plans apply to Obali POS: TableKare is in pilot and pilot restaurants agree terms directly with us. Subscriptions are covered by our refund and cancellation policy.
